Hello Everyone:

This is Steve Green, your new Windsor Essex Community Garden Network Coordinator. I officially took over the reigns from Michele Legere regarding the Garden Collective work today, May 27th, 2013.

 Many of you already have met me through the Garden Collective or at Ford City Community Garden (among other projects). For those who don't know me, I look forward to visiting you and your garden / project (established  garden in or in progress).

Please direct any inquiries, questions, invitations, news events, community events, consultations regarding Community Gardening and Urban Agriculture in Windsor Essex my way.

Welcome to the Windsor and Essex County Community Garden Collective. 

This is the inaugural blog entry.

Community gardens in Windsor and Essex County play an integral role in not only feeding the community, but in providing a space and a place to socialise, exercise and enjoy biodiversity.  You will encounter some of the most compassionate and passionate people in a community garden and will experience the best of what WEC is doing with and for each other.
